Amy Shipley’s role as a technical writer for WRMD stems from her passion for blending education and wildlife rehabilitation. With over 20 years in adult education and curriculum/materials design, Amy integrates her teaching and writing into creating WRMD tutorials. She also brings practical experience to the work, having spent at least sixteen years in the wildlife rehabilitation field and using WRMD directly. Her hands-on experience in the field and with the program itself gives her a unique perspective on explaining the software processes to users. She is honored to be a part of the WRMD team where her mix of skills contributes to WRMD's mission.
