Announcing our new logo and website!

To reflect our continued growth, we are launching a new logo and website to align with our current projects. Our new logo features an Arctic tern; the only species that can be found on all seven continents. The globe image, behind the tern, symbolizes our worldwide network. We feel that these two elements represent our global reach and impact.

When The Wild Neighbors Database Project incorporated in 2013, WRMD was our only project;  being used in a handful of facilities. Now that we have been around for more than a decade, The Wild Neighbors Database Project has three active projects with more on the horizon. WRMD is currently being used in 32 countries, 51 states, has 1,390 accounts and over 3 million wild patients entered.

In addition to WRMD, The Wild Neighbors Database Project also serves O-WRMD and WildAlert. WildAlert is currently being used in California and is being developed for use in Arizona and Florida. There is potential to reach additional states in the future.

We feel that this logo change is an inclusive representation of our global projects. We are incredibly grateful to you, our supporters, for encouraging and supporting us throughout our more than 10 year journey. We would also like to thank Emily Brunner, owner of Barefoot Seeker, for helping us to design our beautiful new logo.

We invite you to explore the rest of this website and we hope that it allows you to quickly find the resources that you need.
