Terra is the director of EpiEcos, a small research-based organization focused on work related to epidemiology, wildlife health, and One Health. She is a wildlife veterinarian and epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience working in wildlife veterinary medicine and population health and over 15 years of experience conducting applied epidemiologic research. Her current work includes partnerships with wildlife rehabilitation organizations, state wildlife agencies, and universities on development of tools for enhanced wildlife health surveillance, including the Wildlife Morbidity and Mortality Event Alert System.
