We have just announced that we will be implementing a subscription model when the new version of WRMD (WRMD 4.0) is launched this fall. This subscription model will offer a free version of WRMD and a Pro version which will offer additional features. The Pro version will cost $250 per year or around $20 per month.

We would love to keep WRMD free and have aimed to do so for as long as possible. WRMD has grown so much that we have had to hire additional staff to manage accounts and answer user questions. Additionally our overall overhead costs are higher than our yearly donations.

The subscription model is something that we have been working on for two years and have finally come to the conclusion that we have to implement it. We don’t ever want to turn away a rehabber that needs our assistance and so that is why we will still be providing a free version of WRMD. We hope that organizations that have the capacity will voluntarily subscribe which will help to keep WRMD accessible for everyone.

We are still finalizing these details and will share more with you as soon as we are able. Please be assured that we aim to “grandfather in” current users for as many features as possible.
