For researchers & agencies
Decades of wildlife health data. One front door.
Depth, breadth, continuity, and credibility — built from years of wildlife health data across the network.
Working with the data
Built for collaboration
How collaboration works
Collaboration is project- and fee-based and depends on staff availability. We scope the data together, agree on terms that protect contributing organizations, and deliver de-identified, analysis-ready extracts.
Monitoring & decision support
WildAlert already serves wildlife agencies in seven states with near real-time monitoring. We can bring it to yours.
Data stewardship principles
Records belong to the organizations that create them. We share in aggregate, credit the collectors, and never sell the data.
What's in the data
Standardized, longitudinal, global
Clinical records collected the same way across thousands of organizations, year after year. This is the kind of dataset that is nearly impossible to assemble any other way.
- Species and taxa, across birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians
- Intake circumstances of admission
- Clinical findings and exam data
- Diagnoses and conditions
- Outcomes: release, transfer, death
- Date and available location for every record
- 13+ years of continuous collection
- Standardized across 2,500+ organizations
- 50+ countries and every U.S. state

The data is only as strong as the network behind it.
Your support strengthens the tools, partnerships and connections that turn wildlife records into knowledge for research, response and conservation.
